Summary of Logging Impact Monitoring

As a company committed to sustainable forest management principles, CV Dipantara strives to ensure that all its activities align with sustainability standards. One tangible effort is monitoring logging impacts, which aims to minimize negative risks to the environment and surrounding communities.

Scope of Logging Impact Monitoring
The monitoring process involves observing and evaluating site conditions before and after logging to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and to avoid adverse effects. In 2024, CV Dipantara conducted logging activities across several partner community forest groups (KTHR), focusing on the following aspects:

  • Soil condition: Ensuring no significant changes in soil density due to logging activities.
  • Strategic locations: Assessing proximity to water sources or protected cultural sites.
  • Erosion: Ensuring no signs of erosion around the logging site.
  • Biodiversity: Observing wildlife in the surrounding area to ensure their habitats remain intact.
  • Workplace safety: Reviewing any workplace accidents during the logging process.
  • Community complaints: Evaluating whether there were objections or complaints from local residents regarding the logging activities.

Monitoring Implementation by Production Assistant Manager
The monitoring activities were conducted directly by the Production Assistant Manager (Asman Produksi), responsible for overseeing each stage of the process and ensuring adherence to procedures.

Monitoring Results: No Adverse Impacts
The monitoring results showed that all logging activities were carried out in compliance with applicable SOPs. No indications of negative impacts, such as environmental damage, wildlife habitat disruption, or community complaints, were found.

This achievement reflects CV Dipantara's commitment to responsible and sustainable forest management. Logging impact monitoring demonstrates that production activities do not have to conflict with environmental conservation or community welfare.

Through these measures, CV Dipantara not only ensures environmental sustainability but also fosters harmonious relationships with surrounding communities, creating mutually beneficial synergy for all stakeholders.
