Internal Monitoring of KTHR 2024: Enhancing Compliance and Sustainable Management

As part of efforts to maintain the quality of community forest management, CV Dipantara conducted an Internal Monitoring of Community Forest Farmer Groups (KTHR) from July 1-20, 2024. This activity involved the Internal Audit Department, supported by the Community Forest Management (PHR) Division.

A total of seven KTHRs were selected as samples, as follow:

  • KTHR Ngudi Rejeki (Klegung)
  • KTHR Ngudi Makmur (Daguran Kidul)
  • KTHR Sumber Makmur (Sumber)
  • KTHR Maju Lestari (Ngimbang)
  • KTHR Ngudi Raharjo (Bejono)
  • KTHR Ngudi Makmur (Tapansari)

The monitoring results showed a high level of compliance with FSC principles, with an average score of 86.13%. This achievement reflects the dedication of the KTHRs in implementing responsible and sustainable forest management practices.

n addition to compliance with FSC principles, the team also monitored the use of fertilizers and hazardous materials (B3) by KTHR members. The results indicated that the use of chemical fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and pesticides remained within controlled limits and adhered to applicable regulations.

Steps Toward Sustainability

The positive results of this monitoring demonstrate that KTHRs fostered by CV Dipantara continue to uphold their commitment to environmental conservation and improving the welfare of communities surrounding the forests. CV Dipantara hopes that all KTHRs will maintain and even enhance their performance in the future.

This monitoring activity not only serves as an evaluation but also as a form of assistance to ensure that community forest management can face future challenges while aligning with sustainability principles.

"Through strong collaboration between CV Dipantara and the KTHRs, we can ensure that community forests remain a valuable resource for current and future generations."
