In Indonesia, since the merger between the Ministry of Forestry and the Ministry of the Environment in 2015, policies in managing Indonesia’s forest areas are becoming more integrated and focused. The most recent regulation issued by Indonesia was the Job Creation Law (UUCK/Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja) in Forestry Sector focusing on simplifying procedures and overcoming bureaucratic obstacles.
Considering the long-term relationship and cooperation in almost 65 years of diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Japan, We are pleased to announce that the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Indonesian Forestry Scientist and Diaspora Society in Japan (MIDORI) will be hosting an interactive dialogue about forestry cooperation between Indonesia and Japan, especially in promoting investment, trade, as well as the implementation of Indonesia’s FOLU Net Sink 2030, called :
“FOREST INVESTMENT DIALOGUE SERIES – Implementation of Job Creation Law in Forestry Sector “.
We aim to bridge the possible future strategies in the implementation of Job Creation Law in Forestry Sector in enhancing the investment and trade between Indonesia and Japan.
